Oak Ridge Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 9th

"You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch!" hits the streets of Oak Ridge on Saturday!

Marching Uniforms will be turned in AFTER the Christmas parade in the Band Room. This includes the garment bag/jacket/bibbers/gauntlets/wrist bands. Keep shoes/shoe bags/gloves.

Suggestions for preparing to turn in uniforms:

Students may come to the high school prior to call time on Saturday to dress or to drop off the garment bag if they are already dressed. The big issue is having the garment bag at school after the parade - required. Wear WARM but slim fitting clothing under the uniform - no jeans or sweatpants. Marching shoes with BLACK socks of course.TRADITIONAL red and white Santa Hats complete the uniform.
NO GAUNTLETS FOR PARADE!

Lights and garland on instruments (NO TAPE) are encouraged!

5:30 - Meet at the band trailer at the corner of East Division Road and Laboratory Road in the Lambuth Division Complex (400 Laboratory Road) parking lot. This is a medical complex directly across from an entrance to SAIC. The band will line up and prepare to join the parade as it passes on Lafayette.

6:00 - Parade begins. Students will need to have a ride waiting or a car parked at the high school after the parade. Students will leave uniform - WITH GARMENT BAG - at ORHS.
