|Fees. The fees have been approved by the ORS Board of Education, and are requested (but not required) for students taking Band classes.
Band Fee - $150.00
This fee covers many needs from camp supplies, show t-shirt, flip-folder and music to instrument maintenance, uniform repair and cleaning, etc.
Band and Guard Shoes – $35.00
The Band wears the Drillmaster marching shoe.
The Guard shoes will be specified later.
Band and Guard shoes will be sized at Band Camp or at the start of school and purchased at a discounted group rate for all new students and returning students who need a replacement pair.
Colorguard Gloves - $15.00
Colorguard Uniform Accessories - $35.00
Concert Black Shirt – $20.00
The gentlemen will be fitted in the fall for a Concert Uniform which includes a black shirt to wear with the Band’s tuxedos. These too will be purchased at a discounted group rate for all new and returning students who need a shirt.
Transportation Fee – up to $25.00
This fee will only be charged if there are no other available funds to transport the band to an event or to upgrade from school buses to coach if an event occurs at a distance which will be uncomfortable to the students on school buses.

East Tennessee Schools Band and Orchestra Association (ETSBOA) Events -
Listed below are optional clinics hosted by the ETSBOA. These events are not required, not associated with a student's grade, and have a required fee to participate. ETSBOA clinics with a required participation fee include:
Jazz Clinic audition - $15.00 per student
Jazz Clinic participation - ~$100.00 including lodging
All State East Senior Band/Orchestra Clinic audition - $10.00 per student
All State East Senior Band/Orchestra Clinic participation - ~$100.00 per student
All State Band/Orchestra participation Fee - $55.00
All State Band/Orchestra particiaption expenses -
~$200.00 per student
